  • It looked a little bit broken when i downloaded and compiled it because there were some warnings about freeing memory that was allocated on the stack instead of the heap... that sounded like a core dump waiting to happen... All i did was delete all the free statements where the compiler was complaining and the code worked. Also, the help flag is a little bit misleading because it tells you to put a space between the flag and the argument. Just remove the space between flag and argument and it works. All you need to start the server is as follows: "tinyftp -d.". That creates an ftp server with anoynmous user and no password on port 21. One further modification that was helpful was is located the commented out printf in function get_command in file connections.c and uncomment it so that you can see the commands displayed as the server receives them.... would be nice if the maintainer would add this as a start up flag to turn debug on/off for printing commands. On further warning. beware of windows firewall. it needs to be disabled.
  • does not work
  • Can't work with huge folders.
  • Works good, but on ARM I can't run it as daemon.
  • I needed a small TFP server to run on my linux based robot. TinyFTP was perfect. With no dependencies tinyftp crosscompiled to ARM with no problems. Ran first time and allowed windows explorer to drag and drop files to/from the robot!!. See http://rsmediadevkit.sourceforge.net/ Thanx Dimitur.
